my 1994 landrover discovery 2.5tdi lacks power on hills it is fine on the road just lacks power on hills it is a manually box can anyone help please

You might want to check your air filter and possibly clean your intercooler radiator. These get clogged up.

Have you checked fluids in the diff too?

That is such an open question!

It could be many things....
Brakes sticking
Turbo dying
Intercooler hose collapsing or leaking
Timing wrong
Fuel lift pump failing.

When was it last serviced?

Most common problem found on badly maintained engine is fuel filter, dying lift pump .weak hoses !! Fuel filter first ! If it has had **** fuels in then a lift pump may make big improvements !!!
Not expensive and always worthwhile!!!!!!!!
