MOT advisories:- small chip in windscreen, nearside front tyre tread low, front wheel bearings slight play (he tells me this every other year), slight seepage on power steering.

Exterior condition.
The bodywork is good, with some paint bubbling at the front of the bonnet, minor rust on the front bumper, and a fair bit of rust on the rear bumper. A small weld has been made on each rear wheel arch, and this is the only welding anywhere. The chassis is sound. The rear lower tailgate has some superficial rust at the sides, but the upper is completely rust free and closes easily. Fitted with Bearmach heavy duty galvanized running boards. Towbar fitted with 13 pin plug which is not fully wired up.

Interior condition.
The seats are cloth, and in good condition. The carpet is also good. The headlining is clean, but just starting to sag a little in the very rear offside corner. The rear parcel shelf is in good condition. All windows and central locking work (apart from the tailgate, where it is missing. I have just found a box with what appear to be the parts, so you can refit if you wish.). All instruments, heating and CD radio work correctly. The driver’s door card was removed to lubricate the lock, and has not refitted properly – I think it just needs some new attachment fittings, as some are missing.

Engine.
The engine is running nicely on petrol, with very low emissions on the MOT. (CO 0.01 against 3.5 limit, HC 72ppm against 1200.

The LPG (fed from 2 undercill tanks) is in need of a service and clean, as it occasionally suffers from starvation. It is an old Lovato single point system, and might benefit from upgrading to a modern single point. The garage that used to service it has closed down, so I don’t have anybody knowledgeable about this system locally. I do have the certificate provided for the conversion.

Engine management diagnostics.
The engine is controlled by a Lucas 14CUX system, and few garages now have the ability to interface with this. I have, however, built a Roverguage interface (google for details) which talks to a laptop and displays engine management and fault code information. The cable and software will be included in the sale.

I have a large file of paperwork for past MOT’s, servicing, work done etc. She has been maintained by a local independent, who used to be head mechanic at the local RR dealer. There are a couple of spare rear numberplates.

Viewing is recommended and is available during the day, evenings, or weekends - just PM me
