Hi I'm New and don't know anything about mechanics but I'm willing to have a go?
front headlights remained on and had to be disconnected at the lights, I've replaced the relay and they work fine now, but the indicators don't work but the hazzards do? is it another relay for the indicators, also the drivers window don't work would that be a relay too? I've removed the motor can it be repaired or replaced.
Someone has looked at it and says the heater matrix has been bypassed so I've bought a new one is it difficult? I have got the repair manual which is a big help, but some parts might as well be in chinese with my lack of knowledge.
finally is it possible to put headlights from the new disco onto mine I think they look boss.
can anyone advise please

sounds like you have major relay problems?
window motor can also be a relay prob or the motor. test the motor direct onto a battery.
heater matrix is a very long job, (not very hi tech) cause virtually the whole feckin dash has to come out. thats why they bypassed it!

the disco 2 lights will fit. no idea of the latest ones do.
they will look naff anyways.

Hi thanks for replying
The bloke I got it off had it for years and his wife before him, He didn't know nowt about it. He ran a business near his home and used it for family stuff. It's not been off roadin and it starts perfect everytime. I think when any problems occur he has let someone get it workin as such? rather than replace anything. Just neglect. The drivers door wouldn't open from inside, the window won't work, the headlights, the battery was blitzed and died. no extra's on. needs a little attention.
So where would these relays be? and can you tell if they've blown? That would be a lovely simple solution a couple of relays?? but what happens when you bypass the matrix?

I squirted WD40 into the drivers door lock this morning, and all sorts of funny things happend with the electrics
