Greetings,

Does anyone know if a 1993 Ford Ranger SuberCab XLT 4.0L with the
factory skid plate package had a plate or shield for the muffler? I
had the factory muffler replaced today, but when I got the truck back
from the shop today the shiny new muffler was there with no skid plate
or shield. I could have sworn there was something protecting the
muffler before. I would hate to think the shop forgot to put the plate
or shield back on the truck. Am I remembering wrong? Does the factory
muffler design just look like it has a plate or shield on it? Thanks
for any clarification on the subject.
