The left hand rear brake does not seem to work so well as the one on the other side. I replaced both drums, Shoes and slave cylinders. Adjusted the wear adjustment. Bleed the system and still have the problem. Its been like this for a while now. any suggestions where I should look now? I should add it was like this before I changed all the above.

Or brake pipe bulging?

I had that and it was the failing flexi pipe, as that’s the only bit (apart from shoes) I changed at the back after careful strip and inspect. Mine was crappy on the drivers side but good on the passengers, I still can’t understand why the flexi caused it though as there is only one.

I stripped the whole lot, both side cleaned, greased with brake grease, reassembled and bled and it was fine after that.

Took aaagggeeessss to get the adjustment right though

Maybe a bit of crap off the inside of the flexi can get into the T

It's quite easy to mix the trailing and leading shoes up. Have a look at landrover toolbox videos on youtube
