Don't want to hijack Gmacz thread, but having doubts about that S1. If it remains his, any work you do just benefits him in the long run. I would make him a very sensible offer and try to make it all mine. From those pictures it looks like you couldn't get a better start for a restoration.
Sorry Gmacz! Looking forward to seeing your 90 being brought back to life.

Good point. Best to get you as the registered owner. Will work both ways, as farmer won't be getting all your speeding tickets through the post! Haha;)

Cheers

Freudian slip!

Been working on the landy stripdown, rusty bolts everywhere but it was expected, those really thin cutting blades are the best tool available for rusty 90s and 110s.

Very nice lucky find that man

Keep up the good work and pictures

Look forward to reading

Holy crap what am I in for!

It might not be so bad. Original metal quality is usually better the older you go. And a series just hasnt got so much to go wrong or seize up as a Ninety! :)

On the other hand, if its been used a lot on the beach or similar, it could be worse!

Good clean, bulkhead is just sitting there as the outriggers are completely gone to dust.

Next job is seeing if the engine will run while still in the old chassis

Strip down continues, tried to start engine but starter motor was not turning.
Never had time to pull it and have a look.
Now just engine/gearbox to remove after I change some parts on it after hopefully getting it running.

Most of the dirty work done apart from playing with diesel, parts to be ordered and welding to be done. Brakes will be checked on new chassis and then start repairing and fitting everything back onto chassis.
