First old Land Rover (I had a modern Disco a while back), bought from 300bhp per ton on here. Will dig out a link to his main rebuild thread. It's got a 200tdi out of a Discovery and Range Rover diffs and PAS.
Not had much time to do any with it yet but plans are to put some forward facing seats in the back for the kids. I'm thinking 3rd row Disco 3/4 fold up seats but yet to offer up a pair and wondering what I can attach the upper 3 point seat belts to that has some strength.
Also would like a bit more braking power, appears to be a servo but doesn't help much. Maybe it's just me and my skinny legs! Disc conversion possible but keen to see what I can do that's cheaper and simpler to improve the drums first.
That's enough for now.
Any other folk in / near to Rugby? I'd like to find somewhere to play off road but not even looked yet!!! Or even just talk mechanical bits?
