Hi.
Just popped in from the Disco section for a bit of advice please.
I've been offered a unfinished project Series 1, 109 pickup (deisel) but never having owned or had anything to do with a Series so I've no idea what it's worth.
Rolling chassis, stripped ready for paint.
Body work seems to be relatively straight, sandblasted ready for paint
Engine/gearbox unkown condition as hasn't been used for years.
All other bits and peices are supposedly there.
Anyone give me a ballpark figure of what I should be paying for it?

i paid a grand for a series 1 88, that needed all the normal stuf doing, but i could run it, as you cant, then assume the lot is going to need work, 109 is rarer but less sought after, id offer about 250 and see if they fall over

From all the ones i've seen for sale, people seem to want big money for them.

250. Thats a bargain if you can get it for that. I would think they would be after around 1000. But see how you get on.

I'd buy a Series 1 in any condition for £250.

"Body work sand blasted" sounds a bit iffy, I presume you've had a bit of touchy feely with the old girl??
