Hi folks, thanks for looking,
At the moment I have the bog standard 16" wheels on my 90 and hope to buy four of those snazzy white 8 spoke jobs, however, while talking to a friend he suggested I go for the 15" version of these wheels as he thought that the range of available tyres/ remoulds were better with the size. Is this true?

I dont use my 90 for the real off road stuff, but do go off road from time to time while on fishing trips ect.. so will want some good chunky off road tyres.

Fell free to give suggestions on any wheel and tyre combos you think will do the job.

I would say that there is more variety in the 15", but at the same time you do loose a little but of stability on the road (in my oppinion). With a 15" there is more roll in the tyre therefore you suffer on cornering and wandering at high speeds.
Hope that helps a little..

Thanks for the replies,
Decided to go for the 16" after all, mainly because of the stability issues you raised.
I will be tryng to find a chunky tyre that will allow plenty of road use but also useful when I go down the odd muddy track.
cheers..

BFG mud terrain holds road better then most offroaind tyre, also, Good yr Wrangler, but if you only do a bit down the old muddy track, then the BFG All terrain is a good one too! up to you at the end of the day, this trye debate is always a sticky issue mate, and the debates go on for aaaaaages!!
