14th & 15th May Land Rover off-road get together in France

Teamland85 are holding their annual Land Rover get together at the fantastic 650 hectare off road site "Availles Limousine" (in between Poitiers & Limoges) FRANCE on the 14th & 15th May 2010 with free basic (toilet & a tap) camping from the 13th-16th May included in the very modest price of 40 euro/vehicle entrance fee. This year there will also be a road book around the local countryside.
Off road tyres a must!

Sounds like a good excuse for a road trip All very well but posting French terms and conditions on an English webite will leave most of us non the wiser!

If you don't go it dunt realy matter then does it!
On the other hand if there is anybody that does I will translate them into English for them.

N.B Not me organiseing this event.

I think Rusty's saying he's interested in going as it's a good excuse for a road trip - but can we PLEASE have the T's and C's in English. :doh:

Who else might be interested in going?

What's the chance of doing some lanes on the way down? What's the Frenchies policy on laning?

Basically:

Yeh Land Rover has to be insured/road worthy etc....,40 euros per Landy, there is a 50 euro refundable deposit against willful damage to land & property, 40 vehicles min/70max, no liability against them if you hurt/damage yourself,they have the right to use any photos/videos of you and yeh vehicle,blah blah blah oh and you can't mention "Trafalgar" and refrain from calling the locals "froggys"

You can use any public lanes/tracks as long as there isn't a sign to say you can't. If you get caught off the tracks, private property, beaches you are properly in the ****e.

40 vehicles is the minimum N° to cover the cost of the rental of the land, limited at 70 for everyones enjoyment.
