Hi sat 13th march 2010, :doh: out of the blue 11pm horn blasting out ,no lights flashing, opened the car td5 ,thought if I tried to start it the alarm would stop ,car started OK but the horn still blasting out last resort disconnect battery , tried next night not locking the car door ,guess what 11mp horn blasting out again, so at the moment all I can do is every night disconnect the battery, unless someone can help, fingers crossed, could I just disable the alarm.
Just been told it could be horn buttons on steering wheel sticking and when temperature drops and plastic shrinks the horn makes contact,that was from an auto electrician.
was told if it goes of again try pulling buttons out small screwdriver if it stops thats the problem.
yet to try it myself, see what happens 11pm tonight.
