Hi Guys,
I'm going to look at a 110 van tomorrow, I've only really tinkered with 90's before, how hard is it to convert a van to to 5 door county spec?

thanks,

Jack

I was thinking of buying a heavily front ended 110 from copart and then transfer the body and interior from the bulk head back. What do you think?

Not worth the ball ache, unless you are planing a full strip and rebuild. Easier to sell the van and buy a county

For what you will be spending its not worth it. Also a front ended vehicle warps throughout so aligning things will be a ball ache.

I've just managed to find a straight one on copart, that at present is going for not a lot. I shouldn't need deal should I? It's going from van to station wagon, no change of body type?

Going from 3seats to 6+ so they need to be told but they can be a pain with these things as v5 will say can etc

Why do you want a CSW? I wanted one because of the seat arrangement - when the bin-lids leave home a van may suit. That said, if you enjoy tinkering, have the space and some dosh buy the van strip it down and build a CSW, just don't take it into London.

Blu haze - I just fancy a project to be honest, I guess tomorrow will tell, wether I embark in a mad project! However if you asked my girlfriend, she will tell you I have to many projects already :)
Luckily I wouldn't be taking it to London

You could convert it to a twin cab but with kids getting to back through fold down seats and have a short pick up back
