I've just got my first Defender a 110 300TDi 1999 Van, clean and tidy pretty pleased with it overall.
I've started to do the jobs I could see needed doing when I bought, the oil leaks etc. I need to replace the front UJ on the front propshaft, pretty straighforward.
What can't understand is why a GKN UJ (RTC3458) is £10inc and one from the main dealer is £34+VAT they cant last four times long can they?
Who is buying these parts at that price?? or am I missing something??
Anyway still enjoying my 110
