Hi Guys,

Could someone tell me which version ,model engine, would be the best for on road and off road use? "Oh by the way I was going to try and build it? I have looked around and not managed to get the info"? I think I may be down to a 300 tdi or a td5 but I need convincing as to the best for the job and my pocket?

Can you give me any information on a station wagon 110.

Stu

For reliability and easy maintainance 300tdi. For on road driving TD5. My TD5 has been everywhere that my 300tdi went offroad.

what info do you want on the 110 csw?

Thanks Guys

What dates did the 300tdi run and is the csw a standard 110 chassis. and anything that I may need to be aware of on the build? I do have the rave disk but it is lacking in places when it come to the csw body and chassis.

you dont see many people go to town with them on the off road front, but then i like to be differant!

the 300tdi was produced 1994 - 1998, with mine being a very early one.

exactly what are you planning to do? buy a shagged 110, strip it and rebuild it with new parts? or buy a rolling chassis and then assemble onto it?

What are the wheels and tyrs youve got there carpy? is that just a 2" lift? they look like theyd hit the arches. Are there spacers on there too or are they just mahusive wheels?

fanatic beat me to it

33-12.50 R15 grizzly claws on steel modulars with built in offset, so yea mahoosive wheels i guess.

she is on a 2" lift, and never had any issues. will hopefully soon be going for a new setup though

thanks for thr reply. I am not sure yet? i may go and get a gal chassis and start there, the idea for geting a stip down sounds good but i have limited space.

Let me know if your getting rid of the wheels and tyres. :D I take it your still on your Defender T-box? Ratio would be about right with them on. Does it work on the road? :crazy_driver:
