Where are all the rivet counters when you need them ?Does anyone know how the ribs are attached to the 110 roof please.
No rivits and smooth on inside.
cant see any evidence of spot welds, looking like glued on but not sureSpot welded I think.
Rub the paint off.cant see any evidence of spot welds, looking like glued on but not sure
Seeing as I can't sell it I thought I'd use the ally for my little truck fuel tanks etcRub the paint off.
Thick layer of paint goes in the dip of the spot weld to hide it.
Why do you want to remove the ribs ?
Run a flap wheel along the side of the rib to find the spots. Find 3 & measure the distance. Then you only need to do small grindsSeeing as I can't sell it I thought I'd use the ally for my little truck fuel tanks etc![]()
Might be able to leave most of the ribs on and turn them to the inside, there's no evidence of welds on the underside of the roofRun a flap wheel along the side of the rib to find the spots. Find 3 & measure the distance. Then you only need to do small grinds
