Due to this 110 being bought as a project and not currently in use as an everyday car i though i would put a lil diary up of the work done with loads of piccys and stuff so ill update it as and when i get chance to play with it.
yesterday i went down the unit in the afternoon to get my head round some of the problems.
firsly the mechanical issues....
engine ran when i bought but now and again i did have some powerloss and it wouldnt rev, also a bit too much smoke of the wrong colour.
upon inspection it seems that the fuel cap has been letting water in the tank so when i drained the fuel its basically a 80% mix of fuel and water.
tank cleaned, fuel lines blown through, injectors blown out and cleaned up.
full engine service, intercooler and pipe worked cleaned out, turbo inspected, compression test shows good an all 4 and it now starts on the button without fail (or when you cross the wires) hehe
finally, a good clean up of the engine bay so its much nicer to work on in the future and i can also inspect the bulkhead much better for when i do the future welding work, turns out the bulkhead both sides is spot on!!!
more updates as and when.......
