Just a thought. If it’s a station wagon, they make have issue with the number of seats. Again, best to check with the insurer.Hi all - is it possible to insure my 17 year old (provisional licence) as a learner on my 110? Thanks…
Yep gone are the days of passing your test & driving the 12 seater landy to the pub to celebrate with most of the rugby teamJust a thought. If it’s a station wagon, they make have issue with the number of seats. Again, best to check with the insurer.
Thanks for the welcome - much appreciated…Hello and welcome
Assuming the OP ever checks back....it is generally cheaper to get the learner to take out their own insurance for learning in your car. Saves your NCB should the worst happen

Good advice - thanks…Probably, yes. Best to check with your insurer. But the issue will come when they pass their test and drive on their own. Then you will likely find it more cost effective to get their own small economical car to build up a year or two of no claims bonus before they get a Landy unless you don’t mind paying for the privilege of driving a Landy as a young driver.

Have just bought a wee Cat N Hyundai to repeat the process with younger daughter.
