Is that a voice of experience? The paper gaskets are annoying as you need to replace them every-time you do Anything with the hubs/flanges. I now buy them in packs of 10 have have a couple of packs sat on the shelf.Don't forget to fit the paper gaskets on the drive flanges !!
Clunk free sounds far to optimistic, maybe slightly less clunky than before, but never clunk free!I think greasing the splines at the flange ends wouldn't hurt, it might at least keep moisture out and perhaps slow down any movement in there from wearing the splines away again. I haven't had a moment to do this job yet but I am looking forward to some clunk-free driving afterwards
