98, 300tdi with 07 puma body + interior and td5 dash.
Dont know if anyones interested? But here goes anyway, it started when I took the front wheels off to nip up the wheel bearings, got a little carried away and heres what I ended up with:
Took the opportunity to tart it up a bit:
Youve got to love a bit of POR15:
The silver paint on the Terrafirma shocks is so thin that after a year rust was starting to show so wire brushed and POR15, they will last a while now:
Did a bit of head scratching over the shock washers, but got there in the end:
Had to fit new swivel balls as the old ones were badly pitted:
Job done and wheels going back on:
While I was under there I fitted a full set of Super Pro caster correction bushes, new wheel and swivel pin bearings and a load of other bits and bobs. Ill do the same to the rear axle once Ive re-gained my enthusiasm.
