hi folks

thinking of buying a defender 110 but i would like to up the power as much as possible. My mate had the idea of swapping the engine out for something like a supercharged V8 Hemi from the states. Ive seen whats on offer from Twisted landrover and was wondering if anyone on the forum has had any experience/ advice on this matter?

LOTS, LOTS, LOTS of work and you'll wind up with a bit of a pig - it's not just engine swop, it's transmission, brakes, etc. etc. etc. Then virtually un-insurable..............
If you want a fast, tough, large 4x4 go on holiday to the states, buy the best 1980's Chevy Blazer you can find and ship it home!
