Hi all
I'm open to any and all advice here for best product / best practice.
'Daisy' is pretty standard at the moment in respect of electrics, however once roadworthy there will be a few additions such as roof lights, rear worklight, and further into the future a winch.
I'm thinking I should fit some sort of distribution board, if for no other reason than to make life easier to wire these things in which is where I need the advice. I'm also considering doubling up on the batteries, but not sure I'll need a split change system, again any advice welcome. ☺

Hi marvinb I would have thought a split charge system was the best way to go as Daisy will charge the second battery for you and you won't have to worry about it and your starter battery will always be charged as well. I've just fitted a split charge kit to my project 110 brought it off Amazon it had all the bits you need to fit it and a 6 way fuse board for £80 (price depends on how much cable you have with it) it also had easy to understand instructions if your not sure about electrics, the firms called Simply Split Charge but you can buy from them on Ebay or direct but they do cheaper kits . I was also advised off a forum if you fit a split charge system fit 2 new batteries or you will have problems, I brought my batteries from Tayna batteries they were a good price and the service is A1 ordered 1 day came the next well packaged .
cheers Ian

Hi Ian
I don't suppose you have a link for the kit you bought? I would probably look to get the kit and set it up, but with just the one battery then later buy the 2 batteries before any additional stuff goes on. There's still much work to do, new rear cross member, new c posts, floors to make and rrc seats to fit, oh, MOT now needed too, as well as painting it all one colour, ha ha. But I'd like to get the fundamental stuff in early. No rest for the wicked.

Know how you feel mate going through it myself put new 1/4 cross member on mine major repair to the A frame xmem new floor in the tub and c post have just refitted the engine ,gearbox and transfer box plus loads more been doing it 14 months hopefully will finish it soon:D and I haven't thought about mot yet haha. just search split charge kit on Ebay or paste this in your search bar this is there web site http://www.simplysplitcharge.co.uk and this is the kit I brought 6mtr Pro Heavy Duty Split Charge System / Kit with, 12v 140a Durite VSR + Battery Terminals + Fuse Box it was £96 sorry but they do loads of other cheaper kits I went for a heavy duty one because I'm fitting a winch, heated screen, heated sets and spots
