hello,
ive just sold my series 2a and im looking at this 110 (not a defender) hardtop 2.5D chasis isnt rusty but one of the outriggers is twisted. it drives straight and everything works ok.body is avarage condition but bulkhead has been fibre glassed. its got upratted coils and shockers on the back.
he wants £600 quid for it, just wondering what anyone else thought this was like for price?
cheers Tim

that seems a bit to cheap to be true , you need to know whats under the fibreglass , that could be exspensive to put right , as for the chassis which outrigger is damaged , they are not dear but has there been any other damage. don't even think about the uprated springs they're cheap as chips .

The only other damage is some dents in the chasis from off-roading but the chassis isnt rusty. under the fibre glass is metal but it is fairly rusty. i was thinkin of leaving the outrigger beacuse it drives strait and there is no mot where i live here in guernsey so the car can be as rusty or bent as u like. As for the price. In guernsey no one pays a lot for landys as there arent enough enthusiasts as the population is only 60,000

cheers tim

hi
dont rekon ud want it any way as its in Guernsey, Channel Islands and shipping is expensive. Anyway im probably gonna buy it, i rekon its quite a reasonable price for the condition
