Hi.
I have a 1984 109 FFR Petrol. I had much the same problem with mine over the Christmas. Checked all the usual stuff including the Indicator Stalk. I could not find the fault. Everything else was working including the Hazard's. I suspected it might be the Flasher Unit itself. I left everything in place and bought a 24 volt tractor Flasher Unit, 3 Pin, from the local motor factor and connected that directly to the Indicator Stalk and a separate Pilot Light. Working perfect since. It only took about 30 minutes to do the job. Worth a try.
Regards.
Chris.

First thing I'd do is remove the switch and test it with a multimeter. That way you will know it is either the switch or not. If not, move on to checking the wiring. If it is a 6-way switch it is likely to be the same type as a British Army vehicle of the same vintage. A British 24v wiring diagram may assist in checking the wiring. Try eBay for British Army 24v manuals.
