Hi, can anyone help? is there a poltergiest in my landrover or is it just an electrical fault? the problem is the temperature & fuel gauges go up when I put the heater on and even higher when the lights are on the battery condition indicater does the oposite and goes down has anybody experienced this problem before?

Yeah. Itll be a poor earth behind the dash. Take out the console, with the speedo in, and check where it earths to the bulkhead.

thanks for that I will have a look for that earth connection at the weekend, and I thought my landrover was haunted

Hi, thanks for the advice, It was a bad earth underneath the bonnet against the bulkhead.
