I'm still here, the last few months have been quite difficult though. Suspected angina turned into a game of hospital 'ping pong' with neither of the two initially involved wanting or in indeed were capable of performing an angiogram and whilst they indulged in their little game I had a heart attack. An ambulance could not come to me for at least six hours so my gardener drove me at speed to them and in this way I managed to get into one of the hospitals for emergency treatment. They then referred me to the main 'out-of-county' hospital who took on my case. Because my radial arteries are 'contorted' an angiogram was not easily performed so they brought in from Europe? a professor of coronary specialism to instruct the floundering surgeons and an angiogram was successfully done. His recommendation was for me to have open heart surgery as the amount of stent work needed was considerable. For various reasons I chose to go down the stent route but that proved not to be straight forward. After almost three hours 'on the job' the stents were done and since then I have been completely pain free.
I'm sure we are all glad you come through the traumatic period and are on the mend 👌

Todays happenings...went doon to my new boat which I paid for btw but not alot.
My mate who had been working on it recently said one of the exhaust manifolds had a hole in it so I stripped it off & took it home
& started striping the riser off it then I decided to inspect it before I split it....bloody thing aint got a hole in it it was a lump of rust
so I chipped it off which lead to a small looking creator in it (deffo not holed) so I filled the creator with quick steel & I will be
re-fitting & the noo manifold returned as they are expensive. I need a noo gasket to re-fit it so I'll get one this week.
Then I decided to remove the nearside wing on the disco & cut out the rust I got one plate welded on & my mate appeared he
decided to cut a bit of rust out his alfa but it was on the osr quarter panel then thought ive bitten off more than I can chew lol
He was using a gasless mig welder & the plate he put on was held on with splatter located up inside the rear wheel arch.
One of his mates said its set up for doing your panel  I had a go & then re-set it & ran a couple of beads over his attempt.
Then he had a look & your a show off & im pure *&$££ at welding, I said id finish his welding on it if he made the plates.
I will cut the rust out the offside inner wing tomorrow then get some nice steel on monday & rebuild it. Oh the joys :):)

An at the weekend that first bloke invented the woggle dinty..
That was the original Baden Powell, who set up camp on Brownsea Island, wrote "scouting for boys" and I believe invented the concentration camp, though I may not be right on that.
Totheren was an amazing guitarist, I have a box set of his LPs.

Which also mentions Vinicius de Moraes

I don't have a flavour problem with the gas BBQ, but If I did I would buy a small "smoker-tin" you fill it with wood-chips of your choice of flavour (oak, whisky barrels, fruit wood) and place it on the BBQ surface the wood smoulders and imparts an extra flavour to your food. Amazon product

You've mentioned this before and I did look into it. But they are more expensive than the cheapo (€19) barbie we bought Thursdi.
