My bad, 13.6 I think, it's difficult getting my drop tester to the battery, it seems I have to dismantle half the car to change the battery on this one! i'll try the jump lea to the engine if I can fond a metal part on the engine, everything is hidden on these cars. I had a similar problem on a previous voguse, an additional earth strap sorted it. anyway, I've got home start recovery coming over to see if it's a simple fix. I've got no reason to think it's a starter failure as such. I can't measure the voltage drop when starting because it won't start. Voltage drop after test was still in the green bit, I'll double check in a while.
The other problem, not so important, I had the heater valve replaced a few weeks ago, got the aircon re-gassed. Heating now works as it should, aircon takes quite a while to blow cold air into the car, just very hot air when it's been in the sun all day. Driving along, it takes about 3 miles to blow cold. Any ideas on that one?

I dont see why you cant measure the fill/level plug (on level ground) and then jack up the lowest opening to keep the oil in.When i pull the front half shaft out.. will it drop a ton of oil or will i get away with jacking high on one side?
I don't want to be nobbing around with the fill plug just now if i can help it
Pic?Anyone know what the grey relay is for in the engine bay fusebox? I've just noticed it's been replaced with a date on it. Months before i bought it![]()
I used to have a chain on my old 2a, it went through the steering wheel and down to the pedals I thinkBugger.. leave the house for 30 mins and you get something nicked from the porch
Now I'm worried about my 2A on the driveway
Yes.. that doesn't stop someone hooking it on the back of a truck thoughI used to have a chain on my old 2a, it went through the steering wheel and down to the pedals I think
Sorry to here that kermals but not surprised unfortunately![]()
I've done that on the 110 and the 38 with no oil loss, couple of drips clinging to the shaft at worst, a rag on the floor and another to wipe the shaft as you withdraw it if your drive is nice. When i pull the front half shaft out.. will it drop a ton of oil or will i get away with jacking high on one side?
