I was quoted around £320 per key for the non flip 2005 key. Around £260 was the key the rest was pairing it up to the car.
Got one from local indi and paired it myself.

Higher than 1600, not 1200. Not sure why my reply said 1600 when your original 'estimate' was 1200.

Why would you need either of those? You would just code the new keys to the car

This looks a good price, even had a video! But they don't swap the metal parts over so you keep the range rover bit. It's easy to do

L322 - Key fob case replacement.

So guys an L322 suffer with key fob problems like rubber flapping off the sides. Like this We have 2 like this, 1 has insulation tape holding it together. So it’s time to sort them. It seems LR have a replacement part for this problem. Now you can buy them on the evil bay with the metal sides...

A friend of mine washed the key for her Discovery in a pair of trousers so it did a full cycle in the machine. Would you believe it is no longer working? I have the licence for her car on Gap so we got some cheap keys off eBay and it won't code them because the KVM is locked on her car. She casually said "Oh ok, I'll get LR to do it when it goes for a service then". I just looked at the floor.

On the upside, I got a spare cheap key and coded it to my old L322 so it then had 3 keys, we've never spoken of the D4 KVM again.

kvm is locked? how will JLR add a key then?

They won't, according to Gap, it will need to be replaced. I expect that's why we've never spoken of it again.

The Nice Lady at JLR did politely explain to me that the quote included a new KVM - £715.00 - in the price. So I guess that would be similar for the Disco - same one I guess?
