W, who has been in the hospicle since 0645 has just rung me. Not been done yet.
:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
We could see from where her name was on the whiteboard behind the reception nurse's desk that she was last on the list.
They said they'd "rejig " things.
Ho yeah?
Don't fink so.
Not only has she not eaten she hasn't even been able to drink water.
I think a complaint may be coming out of W. :(

Not suitable in all soil types, can't get past large stones, lumps of flint etc. But great for slicing through water pipes, drains, leccy cables.
Don't care how they do it, as long as they don't do any harm and don't block our exit, or, preferably, do it when we are away.

This'll be the nasty neighbours wanting us to get no compo!.

Maybe it'll backfire on them.

Spent some time trying to see if it is my shooting or the scope. Nothing is consistent.
Except that I am normally to within max 1cm of the bull, which ought to be close enough.
I have tried to make myself a sling but not been very successful No proper sling mounts don't help. Plus I'm taking all my shots standing up leaning against the doorframe. Not ideal. :(

Nothing is consistent

Yes it is - the gun is consistent, the ammo is consistent (unless you keep changing it) and the scope is consistent (might be ‘out’, but will still be consistent).
The shooter and the wind are the variables.

That’s some claim - over what distance?

I am going to put up thread about Openreach elsewhere on the forum, just to see if I can get any help.
But just so you know.
Our poop neighbours want fibre.
Fair enough.
But Openreach are going to have to dig up a lot of our shared driveway, and by "our" I mean 3 properties apart from the jerks on the end.
So far two of those affected have been contacted, but we haven't.
And this despite an email and three snail mail letters both to where the "Wayleaves" dept is in Belfast, and one to their head office in London.
Do not know where to turn when large companies refuse to acknowledge communications with them.
THAY don't have right of access, if you are not informed about the scope of the works in a detailed report with drawings and photos and there obligations to repair any damages done tell them to F O

We are spoiled for scenery tbh, it really is stunning & the sound of a v8 resonating between the hills across the water for miles
for all to enjoy. 🤣 🤣 🤣
I haven't checked but if the Pmobile has a V8 throbber you won't be pining after mine so much!!!
Having been there I know you live in a stunning part of the world. albeit a little chilly some of the time.
This is why we love our place in frogland so much. Views to die for. All that is missing for us is a boat to enjoy the canal and maybe the odd lake, although entry to them is very restricted.

I am getting good grouping now, the scope isn't far out. I haven't really shot properly for years so am a bit out of practice. Today is windless so that isn't a variable.
TBH to set the scope up properly I need to make some kind of mount or table and gun rest, but I won't be shooting rats like that as they just appear out of the blue, so I need to be able to pick up the rifle and pot them.
So yep, make a rest, set up the scope, then no matter what it will only be my fault if I miss.
I have to measure the distance I am shooting at but the 1cm claim is not over a long distance. 20 to 30 yds?
I did get my ATC marksman's badge a long long time ago, but I used to be able to shoot vermin through the eye at that distance or a bit more. Snap is what I am best at. give me too long to think about it and I am not so good. Bisley I am not!

I am pretty sure that even with the set up I had at the time, the last rat, who was on the ground eating birdseed with his backside toward me, got a pellet very nearly up it!

Forgive me for asking, but I confess to not having taken much notice of all the details of the the Pmobile. so I don't know anything about what its powertrain is.
The original post is so far upthread I CBA to search for it.
If you wish you could put me out of my misery and rename it so I can check it out!

Yours has been so abused in the past, now its got no energy & its hidden out of sight, scabby round the gills an needs a good
jump start even then it cuts out after a min. Throbbing is a thing of the past for yours 🤣 🤣
Strangely, last time I started it up it ran fine, just needed a batt connecting up. It has to be said that LPG deteriorates slower than peteroil! It didn't cut out at all. Only new thing was the noise from the power steering pump. but it still moved so I could get the box trailer out if nec.
No one came to buy the trailer even though some came from Heathrow and Wales to look at it. Neither party had got their ducks in a row. One wanted to use it to deliver stuff to Poland (the Russo-Ukraine thing had not long kicked off) but needed "stuff" on the drawbar to get it through the borders.
The Welsh bunch wanted to do much the same thing but it was a case of a conglomerate of peeps who could not agree.
So the V8 went back to block it in!
I have never abused it, in fact I have probably not driven it further than 30 miles. The gear change is a bit approximate but it goes like stink.

So I reserve any statements about its throbbingness!!!!!

or are you daring to talk about a part of my anatomy????? 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣
