Makes sense!!
Today I have been mostly sanding and wire brushing ancient paint off my garage door. A job started on Saturday. Its a ball ache of a job so not progressing as quick as I would like. Luckily it has started with rain showers so I've clocked off for the day

Unfortunately I have run out of beer. (Until the next bash at @Stanleysteamer wine cellar). But yes, any old excuse - and a few new ones when required.

Plus some HR help for someone.
Showed him the training schedule from when I left.they have not retrained him for a job they say he done something wrong.
Told him not to worry & highlight the training program and proceed with the investigation.
They will have to throw the complaint out against him.
Also showed him all the files on the main servers I left on my departure. Of course these don’t have the correct file names so others won’t find them

It has been a long but lovely day today. The sun has been shining, it was pleasantly warm AND Mycar passed its MOT with no advisories, it's a good job I changed those tyres!

Todays goings on...
Went to timber merchants picked up 5 sheets of 18mm marine ply cost 480 squids.
Then went to the job ripped off the rubber roofing to uncover a rotten mess soaking
wet timber, rotten osb & a sub floor made of cls, then underneath that... there is ceramic
tiles stuck down with silicone & painted with a grey rubbers paint/sealant tile spacers
are used to level them.
Under the tiles is a fibreglass skin which has a hole and has been leaking for years into
down stairs living room. This needs cut open to see the extent of the damage.

Yup
the job just got bigger, I was hoping for a holiday at the end of the month whatsthe chances.
