As it's saturday I've had another late start to the day. I could get used to them ;)

Had some rains overnight but it's scone for now.

I got confirmation from the income tax department yesterday that I am due a refund from last year so I'm wondering what I can spend a grand on :D

Drop down tail gate kit 273 quid.
Led reverse & fog light 40 quid
lucas indicator stock 35 quid
panel to hold hazarded switch ect 12 quid
led indicators for the wings 30 quid
led indicator as one is cracked 16 quid
peddle rubbers 6 quid
led dash lights 7 quid

Im off out tis costing me money when I have dayz off lol

Ok thanks, I dont need any such help, just been notified I need to sign on bi weekly on a Thursday, that'll be fun rubbing shoulders with the worthies and single mums !
Although being a single mum seems to be a new occupation in this neighborhood

I had the same reaction. My NI is fully paid up. I was told to apply for PiP as I won't be working again. I just don't want to as I can still get about. Once that changes I will be right on it :(

Second dottir has now been forced to give up work thanks to long Covid and is now applying for PiP, she thinks it'll be easy, but then she always does that and is always disappointed.
Seems to us that the gubmint is just trying to make sure disabled peeps' lives is even harder, to save themselves money.

So if I was you I'd be all over it like a rash to ensure you get summat. They won't backdate it and they'll take for ever to give you what is due you. and "forever" is SERIOUSLY for ever!:(:(:(:(:(

The reason for not applying yet is that I am still able to move about. Once I end up in the wheelchair, I will be less inclined to go it alone!

Hope it comes through all right.

Wifey got yet another letter from the HMRC telling her, all over again that she owes £124.
Now this is after she took out a complaint which they took very seriiously, agreed it was wrong of them to tell her that she owed £500 when she didn't and that the cock up was all their fault. They agreed it was in fact only £124 but said they would write this off as she had been given such a run around etc etc.
So she is "fou furieux" and steaming. Of course her paperwork is back in blightly as she thought it was all over. The tax office had finally sorted out her tax codes with all her different pension providers etc etc.
So she finally manages to sort out the website to find out that if she wants to take her complaint to the next level she has to get her MP's support.:eek::eek::eek:
Now did you know that was a thing?:eek:
No, nor the fuck did we!
And our MP is Chris the fuckhead Chope, he of "let's allow up-skirting and female mutilation to run for the moment until we can be assed to getting around to discuss it" fame.:mad::mad::mad:
So that was a non-starter, so she has had to simply continue the same complaint yet again.
What a bunch of total w@nkers!:mad::mad::mad::mad:
And of course they are all on their holidays now, until near Christmas.:mad::mad::mad:
