hi all sorted the pond out in the boot floor cubby hole today while i was mopping out the water under the carpet noticed a white plug anyone no what its for it dosent go anywere its just there taped up

it probably had a sub woofer in as it would have been connected also if you have water in there it is the door seal.

cheers for the quick reply had the hippo from brand new its never had a sub allthough suppose it could be the wireing as for the leak the boot is bone dry its just the side and bottom of the cubby hole.when i took the carpet out you could see water marks comeing from the hinge screws but it couldnt be that easy

A lot had the wires in the boot for the subwoofer even if it wasn't fitted. I think all freelanders were fitted with them after 2003 but I could be wrong.

mine is 2003 so tis possible looks like i had better find a sub just to try out

You are wrong. Mine is 2004 S, bottom of the range. No subwoofer and no wiring that I have seen
