They just cut the pipe with what look like giant secateurs, much quicker than un-bolting

Ive heard of cat theft but didnt relise it was such I big problem
the welding of the bolts wont work it'll just give you a headache if you ever need to change it
but was thinking loosely round those lines and thought weld a steel cable/chain to the cat and the other end the chassis? I know it wont stop them but a least they have to go home to get some bolt cutters too! then hopefully they cant be arsed coming back out!...eather that or they get hit by a bus!..works eather way for me lol

a lot of cats are cut off so a piece of chain will just take it a bit longer .

Then you have to replace the cat, the middle pipe and the down pipe plus the manifold cos the bolts wont come off! Then the snaped studs in the head

Maby some sort of sensor that drops the eas to the bumpstops if any movement underneath! That'll fcuk them

Maybe a medieval appproach is needed, a chassis sprinkler system using a mixture of cats **** n ****, not too difficult too set up, getting the **** in any quantity may be tricky though....
