Could it be possible to put a t piece on the compressor inlet pipe and pump up the reserve tank as a emergency using a tyre inflator ???
Just something I been thinking about .

By compreser inlet i asume you meen the pipe between the tank and compressor
And i cant see why not as long as you dont over pressurise it
Not sure what psi it runs at but im prety sure its high

No I mean the compressor inlet ie the blue pipe going into valve block (inlet)

No you can't. The diaphragm valve has to be active to seal the gallery. You could put a T in the violet coded pipe that feeds the tank and valve block.

Was thinking if you command it up its expecting pressure so by turning on your own compressor it recognises pressure entering thus no fault before your weak original goes kaput

I'm good at that when you press the inibitor switch valve opens and on comes compresor can you not just feed your own air in ?

You can put air into blue pipe when compressor is running because diaphragm solenoid is active and putting air under diaphragm to keep exhaust shut. But you can't do it if compressor is not running. So if you want to fill tank connect a T to Violet coded pipe going into valve block. Any air put in there will not go through drier though. What is inhibitor switch valve never heard of it?

My way of thinking would be if you have a weak compressor fix it.

Just to support a sick compressor i think. Not much point just repair it.

Yes I would if needed I do carry a spare seal I. The rear drivers seat pouch , I'm not paranoid honest was just toying with the idea

You could just Tee in Schreider Valves into the individual Corner Pipes for peace of mind...that way, if the EAS was to fault, you can raise the vehicle (unless bust bag or pipe obviously)...

Your proposed method would do squat if the system was to fault due to lack of air pressure....

Just for weak pump side , no way don't want all those extra joints eek

If you're that concerned about compressor failure why don't you just carry a spare compressor. Swapping compressors is a much simpler road side repair.

Just tuck it into the side of the boot alongside the spare valve block and, at least, one spare front and one rear air bag. Don't forget the clips, and maybe some pipe and a couple of connectors and some colletts and a few O rings.
