Hello, just having a set of Disco 2 Polar alloys 16s powder coated black for my black disco 2 and am wondering if these tyres are availabe in the UK seen them in the US and they look gooooood. If not any opinions of the new bfg mud 9 (KM2) tyres yet? I know its another tyre question but just seeing what people think. :)

there are better tyres out there than both of them. A great allround off road tye in my opinion would be the Maxxis Creepy Crawly though not sure if they make them in smaller sizes (like under 35" ? )

they do look good, any ideas on price of them cant find online?

but i will be on the road a little too, i have goodyears on now for road use but want some more aggressive tyres for messing about with.

what good mud tyres come in 255/85/16 or 255/65/16? any ideas?

I used to be able to get the General Grabber from Birkenshaw distributors in Inverness, although I've not been in the motor trade for a few years now so things may have changed.

Think they were similar to the BFG M/Ts I went for. In 265/75/16 I payed about £80 a tyre cost price, would probably have sold them for about £130 each.

Another tyre question, dont shoot me but, can you fit these 265/75/16 Kumho KL71 Mud Terrain without any modification? or is lock affected? any rubbing?

Your getting stupid answers because your asking stupid questions like that^^^

Do you not think there might have been other people asking these questions before you? maybe since the dawn of the tyre? Do you think there maybe a way to find these questions already asked? Do you think thats what the 'search' button is for? ;) :D

Also, just my opinion mind but i dont think you will find a better mud terrain tyre than the KM2, there absolutely awesome and have a reputation for being so. ;) the likes of Maxxis, general grabber wont come anywhere near what a KM2 does.

there is always one

And today its you ;)

But before you go all stroppy and tell us you just wanted a simple answer and that you have searched and that were unfair because your new and that you didn't know etc etc.

Just remember we've heard all that too. chin up, you'll be fine. :D

I would also like to say that the cooper STT in my opinion(which dosent mean a lot by the way :D ) is also a fantastic MT. I dont think i would ever buy another brand. :)

I would go with stt over km2 more diectional and aggressive but still as good on the road and cheaper
