Only took it out for a little spin. The difference in braking is excellent. Think I might take it to work tomorrow to see the difference as motorway speeds. They are quite a bit larger than the old ones.
Tell ya what though. I'm not too sure about this
There seems to be quite a bit gap between the hub centre and the new rims. The old ones were a snug fit.
Is that ok? or should there be some kind of spacer in there?

That's just fine ... as long as your nuts are nice and tight and you check them for tightness a few times in the next few weeks. Look good fella.
I hope that's not a youthamism. We've not long ago had a baby and things are a little scarce in that area.
I'll keep checking though

Bugger. I stand corrected on my spelling.
Although, interestingly google does actually find it as a word meaning exactly that. So I'll pretend I'm young and meant to spell it that way
