Ive seen some roof bars on ebay £73 + £7.99 postage .They are described as for a Discovery van. Will they fit the car version ? Im pretty sure the roofs are the same on both vehicles.

Are they gold plated??? I paid £10+p&p for my bars, in fact check you don't have them already under the rear seat with you jack handle like i did! :doh:

May be gutter mounted. I got a pair off eblag for 0.99p. Happy days

They are the gutter mounted type.Ive got some bars that fit on the factory fitted rails but they are only about 3 foot apart. I need to carry a heavy 10 metre [extended] double extension ladder so need something stronger and further apart.I thought it wern't a bad price for new.

Just keep an eye on eBay, as long as they have the width. You can use anything, mine was used on an L200
