Thanks for all the great advice, just having to spens some time getting out the carpet and accessories etc, to then soapy clean and water blast the inside, and hubby is onto it regarding the Motor!! Fantastic, hope I get the lady back on the road as soon as possible, In NZ, its ****ing down at the moment, and for next few days too. ALSO just to have a moan, LTSA (Land and Transport Safety Associaton NZ) have just implied a new law, that all tyres on 4x4 that are Mud and snows or similar have to have 4mm tread or more!!! You used to be able to get warrant with 1.5 to 2mm so now I need 4 new tyres too. Going for All Terains this time!!! LOL

Cheers for info!!!

Oh i see why you said change coolant now, cos your stoopid enough not to put your exp.bottle cap on  you think every ones that stoopid.:D:D

Hey you laugh about it lol, my ex mrs drove from oxford to North wales with out it on after filling the water up.
I wondered why i got an irate phone call saying that the car dash was beeping and flashing lights etc.

I said stop and have a look she couldnt see anything wrong, so she carried on, then about 30 miles down the road she had to stop on the hard shoulder. called the AA, who then came over and looked straight at the cap which lucky was sitting inbetween the engine bay and the bonnet, and refilled the water up.

When i asked her later on, she said the was steam coming from the bonnent when she was in slow traffic, i thought to myself how bloody dumb came you be???????????

Funny old thing though, the water pump didnt last to long after that!!:doh::doh::doh:

It amazes me how many peeps drive for extended distances/time with the oil light on, Had a woman turn up the other day in a 59 plate R8 - had driven from Andover to Basingstoke with the oil light on - thort she autta get it checked.........
injun rattled a tad

Mr Noisy Ever smelt castrol R in a race motor? Now that's some smell - but honey could be next level!!

Dare you to try it! :D
I had a brief stint racing 250cc bikes and some two stroke oils smell mighty nice!

As for honey.. I put some in my old Mpi disco just to see .. but almost immediatly there was a buzzing sound coming from the engine bay!

Mads101 - Good to hear the disco is heading back to the road! Would have been a shame to loose another one due to slight water ingress :)
