Right, this is my first post asking for help. I'll keep it brief ;)

Basicly when the car's put into reverse (P38) the drivers wing mirror goes up and the passengers goes down and they don't go back.

I did a search but didn't find any previous issues.

Please help. The only thing as a temp measure would be to take the fuse out but i can't work out what one it is with out taking out each one at a time.

TIA

Bloomin' marvelous

Got a text within 5 Min's of posting and said to wife "wahey, they've found the answer already".

Yer right, the two top daily posters get my hopes up :(

;)

Anyone know what fuse to pull?

Please :D

I give up???

Why do some people think 4x4 drivers are a bunch of ****s?

Has it got something to do with certain attitudes or personalities?

Come on guys, for people that are regular posters you're not being much help.

Sorry guys but i asked a question and felt i got sarcasm back

Not what i expected.

I'll wait for someone to come up with the answer, i know it could take a while ;)

OK, just that I'm on other Forums and as you guys know, some members can be a pain in the Ar$e with some postswhen you're after help.

Waiting for the right person to help.

Thanks.

go on then that way the next chump er! i mean person that has the same fault will be able to do a search and find it. or you could just keep it to yer self

God you lot are quick off the mark :D

Basically i disengage the "auto mirror down" function on reverse.

Not the proper way but it's good enough for the moment.

Turn ignition on but don't start.

Put into reverse

Hold "memory" button on the seat for 3 secs

Dash then shows auto mirror disabled

Easy really.

Till the next one :D

This also happens to be in the hand book

Did you have any luck with your gremlin? I have found that on my recently aquired 4.6HSE '96 that the driver's wing mirror glass droops (ends up pointing at rear wheel) when parked up. Not critical but slightly annoying as it has to be reset everytime I use it.
Anyone with similar problem/solution?
