i am becoming 18 soon and i don't know were else to post this but i have a choice between a "ford Capri Mk 2" and a "land rover county 90" and i don't know which would be more suitable.:confused:

ive had a mk 3 capri, great car but as a first car they are rubbish as it doesnt go round corners!

The capri will be an awsome car to have on the road, real 'back to basic' feel and much better (IMO) than most modern vehicles for pure driving pleasure...

The 90 will be just as much fun on the road but you can get other places as well, it will break down more often however and you will get addicted to adding stuff to it and always wanting something else...

Capri's are great for letting the back end go when cornering. I had some "fun" experiances when I had one. Just by a Landy, you'll never be able to go fast enough to get into trouble.

My first car was a capri mk2 when I was 15, though my real first on road car was a capri mk1 3.0gxl ,I still miss it 22yrs later

tis suitable tho;)

The man speaks sense!

As fun as the idea of a Capri or Defender is, not many girls will see the appeal, you're better off with a ****box Corsa, the biggest sub & amp you can fit in the boot & you're golden.

Unless all the women you want to play hide the sausage with are either:

a) into Capri's
b) into Tratters

I'm only assuming you want to play hide the sausage with as many women as you can because you're 18, I was terrible then, still terrible now though

Corsas are boring And slow not that reliable ugly are made by vauxhall .... Ford all the way!!!! Defo get the defender put some dice on the rear view mirror. Woman are not bothered at 18 at what car there in as long as there in one and not on the bus!!

buy the capri, have some fun for a year and get it out of your system.

THEN

sell it and buy a land rover, and keep it for a LONG time and enjoy the fun of owning one.

Don't do it the other way round, you will miss your land rover straight away.

well as your young and clearly have no idea what your needs are as a capri and a 90 are worlds apart on all counts, you must be pretty stupid

so a rwd 1st car with winter comming up, is a stupid choice and asking for trouble
