I'm looking to get a 2nd set of wheels and tyres to use off-road/green-laning on my '97 110 - is there much to choose between steels and alloys - other than looks and price? I've heard it said that steel wheels tend to be stronger than alloys - anyone know if this is true? Any recommendations (wheels or tyres) much appreciated. Also, what are the pro's and con's of the various tyre widths available? Instinctively I'd have thought the wider the better as more width = more contact area, so more grip, but I'm sure it's not as simple as that. Finally, if I go from a /70 tyre to a /85 will that give me more ground clearance (and will /85's fit my standard trim 110?
