been outside, doing some servicing and maintenance, drivers door was getting a bit tempermental on opening, sometimes, pull handle, door doesn't open, slightly release handle, door opens, sometimes hard yank opens door, sprayed all areas of lock and handle, with wd40, worked and reworked the handle and lock. keyfob appears to work every time now, with or without the neighbour being in or out

thought about standing on my head ,on top of a chair, to see if i could get my right arm in there.lol
mot tommorrow, hopefully seventh one straight through.

Worst that could happen is he socks you one

I thought he may have just fobbed you off, because he was,nt remotely :hysterically_laughiinterested.

well, nearly straight through m.o.t. at first attempt.
when they tried the omissions tests it would not come down from 3.82, they said that the oxygen sensors were not working, as they had fairly recently fitted new cats and sensors, it could not be that, however, they revved it up and down for a while and suddenly the sensors kicked in, taking the figure down to 1.02.
what causes this? bad connections?, or as they said, running on gas?

it could have needed a bit of time to adjust, if they gave you a ticket i wouldnt worry too much, or at least take it in on gas next time, if you have software for the gas system set it to change over as soon as they start and rev it, mines set at 1800 rpm on the way down the revs, i can set it to 1300, obviously this is ok when warmed up etc. if its auto change over, just lower the temp it changes at!

you can also see the lamda sensor working on the gas interface!!

i did get a ticket, so not too worried.
as for gas, mines a leonardo single point, i have not got the lead or the software to do anything with it, it is, however set at 1750 rpm on the way down the revs, originally they had the wires connected to the lambda sensor, but it kept mucking up the adaptive learning, so they changed the wiring somehow using an orange wire, inside the box between fusebox and battery(they cut the orange wire, connected grey(i think) to one end and purple(i think) to the other end) no more problems with adaptive learning, but maybe the side effect is slow lambda?

i got the cable off ebay for about 15 quid and the software from here

saves me loads of time etc if i need to check set up, as i have had engine out etc recently i can be sure its all set up fine. just need a gas analyser now to fine tune it all!

ive downloaded the software, obviously , can't do anything with it , until i get the lead.
ive had a gas analyser for years, never used it
what is the correct description, for the lead, from ebay?
190306734932 is £45 plus carriage

thats the correct one but bieng from rpi is expensive. mine was about 15 quid plus post, cant find the guy i bought it from now. i'll have a look!!!

LPG Vehicle Testing and Set-up Equipment there is the aeb one for 40 quid with software, you will also need an rs232 serial to usb connector for 6 quid(thats what i paid at a local pc shop. not a pc world type place)

KME - Manufacturer of CNG and LPG (GPL) electronic system also has them and software but i cant see how to buy them or a price, maybe email them???

there are others but thats what i found with a quick google, cant find the cheaper lead i bought tho!!

i would think that if your gonna pay 45 quid for one you might as well get the full multi kit at 60 quid, at least then you can use it on other cars you may buy or have!!
