My 1985 LR 90 is developing a small collection of tools under the passenger seat next to the battery. Including...

Tow rope
13mm spanner
small screwdriver for adjusting carb mixture
large socket wrench with socket for wheel nuts
small spanner for emergency battery disconnecting
Small socket set (xmas present I'll never use unless desperate)
oily rag
Oil.

I think at some point, I'll make a full kit of stuff and wedge it in there as it rattles around at the moment.

Socket set, breaker bar, rubber mallet (wheels have a habit of sticking to the hubs), and jack. Normally a flat head screwdriver, but it's not there currently, and a spare fuel filter.

that reminds me, I keep meaning to get a bottle jack and put in there. currently have original high lift jack behind the seats but told they are not so great and get a decent bottle jack.

I have a full size trolley jack strapped down on mine.

Which is stupid. But it does work.

Decent bottle jack is not as easy as it seems. You need something which is quite low for when the tyre is flat but also lifts quite high.
Original spec jack is quite expensive new.
