Disco 2 Weird noise when turning left and loss of power steering fluid

I seem to have lost some power steering fluid, topped it up but have some strange noises during driving..... whining noise occasionally and also a slight whine when pressing the accelerator. Had a weird noise when turning left, like something rubbery being twisted, had that for a long time but maybe it's connected??
Any help much appreciated

Known leaking points are the pipes that run under the rad, the PAS pump and the rubber pipe from the resevour that runs close to the sump. Has a "U" bend in it
