Vibration/grinding noise from my 90 help!!?

I don't know if this is common but my 90 at speeds over 40/50 an the faster you go the louder it is

When you take you foot of the throttle to slow down I'm getting a loud vibration grinding noise coming for the rear diff prop or drum area

Any ideas guys ?

Take rear prop off and see if it still vibrates or makes the noise

Sounds like mine did. Rear diff was totally foobarred

Could just be UJ though

get under the truck with the wheels chocked with the handbrake off and give the prop a give wiggle and look at the UJs.

Had exactly the same issue with mine recently..

changed the rear prop and it sounded 1000 times better.

Could have just changed the UJ's but wanted a spare prop anyway.
