Turbo Timer

Have just Inherited today a 2003 td4 that started life in Saudi it looks to have a few tropic mods on it one of which is a turbo timer engine runs for 20 seconds after being turned of.
Has anyone come across this mod before and how can I disable it as I cant seem to find the unit or fuse that controls it

to be honest I would leave it working as it'll save your turbo in the long run

+1 , I leave mine to idle for a while before switching off

it would have had one because of the hot weather , and also after a long run you need to let the engine idle for 30 seconds to allow the turbo to get oil circulating in the turbo and cool it down slightly, after a long fast run and about I mile from home I take it steady to do this

my D1 always gets 30 secs to warm up and gentle driving till the temp needle has moved and 30 secs to cool down once parked so a turbo timer would make it easier but I just do it manually
