Tub-to-SW sides seal replacement

I am replacing the following seals:
--between tub cappings and side panels
--between roof and top of windshield surround
--between bulkhead and bottom of windshield surround

In addition to the new seals (which are a foam rubber) should I use a sealant (like Loctite or Silicon) or just celan the metal surfaces and install the new seals?
