yeah thats right, everythin absolutely perfect apart from havin to keep puttin more diesel in, until filter change time. air and diesel dont mix, never have, never will, but i'm buggered if i can keep the two apart or so it seems.

number 5 is alive! Just been out across the yard, ya know what its like, ya just can't help but give it another twist. anyway we now have all 5 holes blowin hot air, (bit like me really).so things may at last be gettin back to normal. will still do washers and seals on injectors and the others mentioned earlier, but will at least be able to drive to l/r dealers in cork in comfort, rather than 5 hours each way by tractor, but still glad to hear any new ideas or theories. td5 is a terrific engine as long as it does what its supposed to

Thats great news.

If it goes alright between services, you might be better to wait to do injector seals/washers till next time !. ( you,ll have no problem doing them ).

Del.

thanks for the thought, but, dear god above, the thought of trying to do both ends at once! I might as well set fire to it now, rather dread that it will take me two weeks to bleed it next time! perhaps it will help to invest in nanocom/hawkeye before i do anything else as i'm always workin blind. any views anyone?
