TD5 Steering pump modification

Circled in RED I would like to remove this fitting and bolt on a fitting that would allow me to use a threaded connection on the low suction on this TD5 steering pump what could I use???????

I DO NOT like jubilee clips on the hydraulic hoses and would like something more secure hence thinking about a threaded connection (this will be fitted to an extreme off road landrover)

It's been a while since I fiddled with my P/S pump... if you remove the pipe, by releasing the flange with two bolts... is there enough meat in the housing to tap threads into?... if so, you could get a local Ag engineer to crimp fit to the end of your hose a fitting that could screw directly into the housing?... just a thought, as I am away from my bench of hydraulic fittings at the moment.
