TD5 Indicators Lacking Flash

For reference have a TD5 110.

So my indicators work perfectly, work fine off the stalk, when I have hazards they both light up e.c.t

BUT

When I set the alarm with the fob only the nearside indicators flash.

Any one had this before? No idea what it could be..

Might be a sign that the fob battery needs changing, sounds strange but on my 2004 TD5 when locking all indicators flashed but when unlocking none flashed, after changing fob battery all worked fine again, it might have an inbuilt warning like this to let you know or it could be just a coinicidence.
Worth trying anyway.
