There is one on the air box, one on the inlet manifold and of course the MAF.

This is my first Diesel so just wondering what those sensors actually do?

Air temperature, air pressure, air flow. The MAF has incoming air temp + air flow, the other is post turbo and intercooler and also takes pressure at that point.

Thanks

The air pressure sensor was gunged up but now cleaner, the temperature sensor was greasy.

Runs better

actually the one on the airbox is AAP=ambient air pressure sensor(+ ambient temp. only for 15P engines), the one on the inlet is MAP/IAT= manifold absolute pressure + inlet air temp sensor, MAP=AAP + turbo boost(kPa)... MAF = mass air flow(g/hr)-no temp reading here!.... but you better download a RAVE and see there everything explained if you are curious;)

Got a RAVE somewhere but didn't think to look there

Thanks
